Account Manager

Remote — North America (US, Canada, Mexico)

Own client relationships end-to-end. Translate strategy into briefs, orchestrate specialists, and keep delivery on brand and on time.

About the role

As an Account Manager at MaaS by CodeSM, you are the single point of accountability for a portfolio of growing brands. You learn the business, set the cadence, and turn ambiguous goals into briefs your team can ship against. You sit between the client and the assembly line — and you make both better.

What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of 8-12 active client accounts across multiple industries

  • Run weekly strategy syncs, monthly business reviews, and ad-hoc working sessions

  • Translate client goals into structured briefs for designers, copywriters, paid media, and dev specialists

  • Quarterback every deliverable from brief to launch — consolidating feedback, managing revisions, ensuring quality

  • Spot growth opportunities inside each account and partner with strategists to pitch the next phase

  • Be the brand expert: know each client deeper than they expect

  • Forecast and report account health, retention risk, and expansion signals

Who you are

  • 3+ years managing marketing accounts at an agency, in-house team, or both

  • You can hold a strategy conversation, write a brief, and chase a deadline in the same hour

  • Native-level English with crisp written communication — most of our work is async

  • Comfortable with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Notion)

  • Experience working with creative teams, paid media, web dev, or SEO specialists

  • Calm under pressure — the work is fast but it's never chaotic

Nice to have

  • Bilingual (English + Spanish, French, or Portuguese)

  • Direct experience in B2B SaaS, real estate, or home services verticals

  • Familiar with marketing analytics tools (GA4, HubSpot, Hotjar, etc.)
